CPCCWHS1001 Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)
Want to work in the construction industry?
If you want to commence, or continue, to work in the building and construction industry then you need to successfully complete the CPCCWHS1001 Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card) course.
Course Requirements
Before you start this course you need to:
Be able to read and write basic English (that is a Workplace Health and Safety requirement)
Provide one original photographic ID or certified copies of:
Current and valid driver’s licence issued by an Australian State or Territory or
An 18+ card or
A current and valid passport or
School identity card or
Provide two forms of other ID in the form of original or certified copies of:
Medicare card
Bank debit card
Credit card
Birth Certificate
Immigration Certificate
Citizenship Certificate
At the completion of the CPCCWHS1001 Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card) course. you will need to complete a Statutory Declaration declaring that:
You have identified yourself truthfully for the course undertaken and
That the work you submitted during the course was your own work and
You received no assistance from anyone else (other than the trainer running the course) in the completion of any assessment and
In the case of face-to-face course delivery, the time, date and venue of the course you undertook and the name of the person who conducted the training.
Outcomes
When you successfully complete the CPCCWHS1001 Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card) course you will have acquired knowledge, skill and understanding of the following areas:
OH&S legislative requirements.
Construction hazards and control measures
OH&S communication and reporting processes
OH&S incident response procedures
White Card
When you have successfully completed this course the trainer will issue you with a pre-numbered card that has been supplied to us by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland
Recognition of Prior Learning
You may be eligible to receive an RPL or credit transfer. This depends on whether you have any previous industry experience or hold existing qualifications. You should speak to us at the time of enrolment to discuss these options further.
